Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 12, 2026

This policy explains how Ethan Sunray LLC handles information when you use TempMail.la. The service is free, requires no account, and is limited to receiving email in short-lived mailboxes.

Information Processed by the Service

How We Use Information

We process this information to receive and display messages, operate the 10-minute mailbox, prevent abuse, protect the Service, diagnose errors, understand aggregate site usage, respond to requests, and comply with legal obligations. We do not use mailbox contents to train artificial-intelligence models or to provide content-generation features.

Mailbox Retention

A free mailbox is available for 10 minutes. When it expires or you delete it, it becomes inaccessible and enters our scheduled deletion process together with its messages and attachments. Temporary mailboxes are not an archival service and expired data cannot be recovered.

Operational and security logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for reliability, abuse prevention, and legal compliance. Historical account, order, and payment records are retained only for the periods needed for financial recordkeeping, disputes, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Analytics and Anti-Abuse Services

We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website usage. Google may process device, browser, interaction, cookie, and approximate-location data under its own terms. Browser controls and applicable Google opt-out tools may be used to limit analytics cookies.

We use Cloudflare Turnstile to distinguish legitimate requests from automated abuse. Cloudflare may process connection, device, and challenge information for this purpose under its own privacy terms.

QR Codes

The mailbox QR code is generated locally in your browser. We do not send your temporary email address or mailbox access link to a third-party QR-code service. The QR code contains an access link, so only share it with a device or person you trust.

Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information. We may disclose limited information to infrastructure, analytics, security, and professional service providers that help operate the Service; to comply with valid legal process; or to protect rights, safety, and the Service. Incoming email is transmitted through mail and hosting infrastructure needed to deliver it.

Security and Your Choices

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security. Do not use a temporary mailbox for sensitive, financial, confidential, or long-term information. You can delete an active mailbox through the service and can control cookies through your browser.

Your Requests

Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability of personal information. Because the active service does not require an account and mailbox data is short-lived, we may need information from you to verify a request and locate any applicable record.

Children

The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us.

Changes and Contact

We may update this policy to reflect service or legal changes. For privacy, support, abuse, intellectual-property, or legal requests, email [email protected].
